About our guest speaker Rhea Rakshit:
Rhea Rakshit is a Brooklyn based designer, originally from Mumbai, India. She is currently the Director of Product at Sourcemap, the leading provider of supply chain mapping, traceability, and transparency software. Sourcemap's network includes over half a million farms, factories and mines, and its software is used by brands like Hershey's and Timberland to tell the story of where their products come from, and manage some of today's most challenging supply chain issues including deforestation and labor compliance. Rhea has over 10 years of experience working in marketing, communications and product design with social businesses in India and the United States. She holds a BA in Economics from Vassar College, an MSc in Development Studies from the London School of Economics, and an MFA in Design for Social Innovation from the School of Visual Arts.
